C & J Trucking of Iowa was established in 1998 by Jay Hawthorne as a one-truck operation and quickly grew to 8 trucks within the first year. This family-oriented company has continued to grow to over 35 trucks, 70 flatbeds, step decks, vans, hoppers, belt and dump trailers over the 25 years in business. We primarily haul specialty commodities with flatbed Conestoga and van trailers. “Service with Integrity” is our pledge to our customers, drivers, and employees and we continue to build a company and team with that philosophy.
