Important Company Policies

At C & J Trucking of Iowa, we want to ensure you are always running legal and safe. Please follow these specific guidelines:

Fleet Payment Only: Always use the company-provided payment method linked to your app. Do not use personal funds for scaling.
Scale as Needed: We encourage you to scale your load as many times as necessary to ensure your axle weights are legal and your load is balanced. We would rather you scale twice than receive a citation.
Overweight Ticket Policy: While we pay for all scaling fees, C & J Trucking will not pay for overweight tickets. It is your responsibility as the driver to ensure your load is legal before leaving the scale or the shipper. If you are overweight after scaling, contact your dispatcher immediately to discuss sliding tandems or returning to the shipper.
Receipt Management: Ensure all digital receipts are accessible. If you need to provide a copy for billing, you can forward the email receipt to Sue.
